As Switzerland’s only luxury pen manufacturer, Caran d'Ache represents the country in everything they do. Caran d’Ache pens and pencils echo the precision and quality one expects from a Swiss-made object and every item is just that – since the very beginning in 1915, every Caran d’Ache product has been made in its Genevan workshops. An essential part of the manufacturing process is the system of checks through which every product is rigorously tested. Nibs are checked for their writing flow; pencils and inks are tested for their lightfastness; and all products are safety tested. Just like the jewellery and watches that hail from Switzerland, Caran d’Ache has the reputation of a whole country on its shoulders.
