Introduction
Faber-Castell have designed these premium-quality colouring pencils for you to explore your creativity and imagination. They can be used to practice colouring techniques with pre-made designs, like the kinds you would find in colouring books. They can also be used to produce your very own works of art. With twenty-four individual colours, there are no limits to the kinds of subjects you can design or illustrate.
Key Features
Each pencil is produced from FSC Approved wood with a traditional hexagonal shape. They are coated with a lacquer to easily identify the colours and are filled with high-quality lead content. The soft leads produce vibrant tones on everyday papers and card stock. They are also suitable for use in children's or adult colouring books.
Top Tips
One of the best ways to develop colouring technique is to explore the colour wheel and learn which colours work best together. For example, oranges are close to browns on the colour wheel and work well together. The same applies to yellow, which is on the opposite side of orange on the colour wheel. We also recommend working with lighter colours first and then gradually add darker colours on top. This allows you to see and learn how colours change when you layer more and more together.
