What is it designed for
The Tombow Mono Graph mechanical pencil is a modern creative tool suitable for writing or drawing. They are quite popular among artists and designers, admired for their precise drawing qualities.
Key Features
The pencils have an extremely modern profile with a cylindrical design, featuring a built-in eraser at the top, which is revealed by turning the top section. The leads are deployed by sliding the pen clip towards the tip of the pencil. This is a fun feature and makes it very easy to expose more lead when required. The pencils are fitted with 0.5mm HB grade lead, but can be used with any 0.5mm graded leads. The pencils are available in a variety of stylish colours, suitable for both personal and professional use.
Tips and Tricks
A great way to organise your mechanical pencils is to associate lead grades with a specific pencil colour. For example, you could use 2B leads with a black pencil, and HB leads with a blue pencil.
Did you know that you can layer mechanical pencil leads on top of traditional graphite? For example, if you create a sketch with wooden pencils, you can use a mechanical pencil to enhance shading. This is because mechanical pencil leads are slightly more refined and are easy to layer on top of raw graphite.
