This pen is inspired by an original 1940's design, staying true to Parker's signature style and their heritage. The Parker 51 has always been a popular choice among pen enthusiasts and was once coined "the most sought after pen in the world", which remains true to this very day. The new model is very closely based on the original, with a few modern adaptations. Inspired by the past, built for the future.
What is it made from?
The pen is structured from a traditional combination of precious resin and hard-wearing metal. This model is styled with a teal blue resin barrel, polished to a gloss-like finish. The cap is built from stainless steel with a brushed effect, highlighted with palladium plated trims, the iconic arrow-head pocket clip and a jewel embellishment in the top.
What type of refill does it use?
The pen is fitted with a Parker Quink Ballpoint Refill, which are renowned for their super-smooth writing qualities. This kind of refill is a standard international size, often referred to as a 'Parker Style Refill' or a 'G2 Refill'. They are very easy to replace and write with. To deploy the pen tip, all you have to do is turn the cap and barrel.
