The Caran d'Ache Metallic Pencil is designed for colouring and crafting projects. Great for fine art, illustration, card-making and general design work, each pencil is made from FSC Approved wood with a jumbo hexagonal design. It's coated with a smooth lacquer that helps to identify the colour of the lead inside. The lead is soft and colour intensive, ideal for use on both light and dark papers.
A great way to use metallic colouring pencils is to pair them with the nearest matching standard colour. For example, a bronze pencil looks great when layered on top of browns and sepia tones, gold looks great with deep yellows and silver is the most versatile and looks fantastic on white, grey or black.
