Introduction
This Limited Edition Esterbrook Camden fountain pen pays homage to the unmistakable phenomenon known as the Northern Lights, or the Aurora. This magnificent event is witnessed most commonly in the Arctic and Antarctic as a result of solar wind in the atmosphere, creating a light show of purple, blue and green. Esterbrook has produced this pen to represent the blue flares and swirls, staying true to the original design of the Camden with added shimmering details.
About the Design
The body of the pen is expertly produced from a special resin, presenting a mixture of blue tones and white to contrast. There are is also subtle glitter details within the resin, giving the impression of stars that you might see in the backdrop of the Northern Lights. The nib of the pen is made from stainless steel, complete with a unique blue PVD plated finish. The cap features a chrome plated pocket clip and has a special fitting inside, effortlessly projecting the cap off the end of the pen when you remove it from the barrel.
What type of refills does it use?
The pen is compatible with standard international cartridges, which are widely available in the pen community. The pen can also be adapted for use with bottled ink by inserting a converter. You can find spares and replacements in our Inks & Refills department.
